University Fundraising

As a growing charity, the support of University fundraisers can make the world of difference to Rainer not only by raising much needed funds but also through raising awareness. We will work with you to encourage coverage from local media and to make sure everyone knows about your fundraising efforts for Rainer!
We can provide you with all the support you need; whether it is a speaker from the charity, collection buckets for a raid or t-shirts and balloons for events. As a University there are a number of ways you can work with us, for more information please contact us:

Make Rainer one of your beneficiary charities
If you are selecting the charities that will benefit from your fundraising efforts this year then please get in touch. We will put together a tailored proposal for your committee which will outline where the funds raised could go, what we can do to help your RAG and how Rainer works in your area. We can also make sure any funds raised go back to your local service. This year we received support from Bath, Sheffield and Hull who all chose Rainer as a beneficiary of the funds they raised. Not only has the financial support made a difference to our young people, but these RAG's have helped raise our profile in areas where we work with some of the most vulnerable young people.

RAG week events in aid of Rainer
Trying to come up with some creative and original ideas for your fundraising calendar? Call us and we will help you come up with some new and exciting initiatives. At Rainer we love working with University fundraisers to come up with ways to inspire fundraisers and to help you have a successful and enjoyable fundraising event for Rainer.

Organise a RAG raid for Rainer
This year volunteers from Portsmouth and Lincoln University gave out doughnuts in the town centre to raise money for Rainer. Whether you are turning doughnuts into donations, or simply want to hold a RAG in the local shopping centre we can help. We can secure permits, get goodies to hand out and provide you with collection buckets and t-shirts to make your RAG raid a success.

Become a Student Ambassador
Are you an organised, bubbly, creative and passionate person? If so, then you could help Rainer’s young people by raising awareness of the charity at your University or College. You can do this in a number of ways including:

Distributing fundraising flyers to local shops, cafes, restaurants and amenities

Putting Rainer forward as a beneficiary charity to RAG fundraisers

Talking to friends and family about what Rainer does, and sending our e-newsletter to your contacts.
Our student ambassadors bring fantastic opportunities to Rainer, and becoming involved with a charity as a fundraiser is a great way of enhancing your CV for prospective employers. School Fundraising

We value the support of fundraisers of every age, and actively encourage the involvement of primary and secondary schools in raising money for Rainer and becoming Gold Star Givers!
We can support your school with any fundraising you organise by sending a speaker for assemblies, providing fundraising packs and ongoing support.
We are currently developing fundraising initiatives for both primary and secondary schools. We would love to hear from you if you are a teacher, parent or pupil who would like to fundraise or feel you can support the development of school fundraising at Rainer.
