I enjoyed supporting a charity like Rainer. I really felt I was playing a big part in their work, and making a real contribution.

Rainer Communities that Care (CtC) is not a project, it is a process – a process which can inform, and help co-ordinate a host of different projects, initiatives and mainstream services.

The Communities that Care process was first developed in the United States by Professors J.David Hawkins and Richard M. Catalano, of the University of Washington, Seattle.

Today, that process is being applied in more than 600 American communities – in most cases with state and federal support, in the UK, Australia and Netherlands.
