Media Centre
Welcome to Rainer's online media centre. The media centre is responsible for promoting Rainer and the work we do to a wide range of people. By sharing news stories from our services with the media and the public, we are able to ensure that as many people as possible get to know the difference Rainer makes to the lives of young people.
For further enquiries please contact the press office on 020 7336 4814 or 07734 022409.
Volunteering for Rainer has opened the doors for me...[it] can be stressful at times but if I can make a difference for one young person then it's worthwhile.

Working With the Media
Our young people:
Many of the young people we work with are willing to be interviewed and talk about the issues they have faced in their lives. On occasion these may need to be done anonymously. We judge individual requests for interviews on the merit of the story and impact on the young person concerned but have already arranged a number of successful national press and broadcast interviews.
Our services:
Our services provide young people with a whole range of support services. Every day they deal with the main issues often reported in the media. We have 55 projects across the country. Staff and young people at services are available for interview.
Expert comment:
Joyce Moseley, our chief executive, is hugely experienced in youth policy and working with young people. Biography and photographs for press use.
Our directors, policy specialists and frontline staff are also available for interview. We have interviewees based at our London office in Old Street.
An example of one of our services
Rainer Lincolnshire supports over 500 young people a year. The service provides accommodation, education, employment and training packages, health and emotional support. The service also runs an out reach service on local estates and a drop-in youth advice centre in Lincoln city centre.
Rainer Lincolnshire works with young people who are homeless, out of school, unemployed, offenders, have had family problems, mental health problems, young parents or have problems with drugs and alcohol.
